Welcome to Box Alarm Fire Training Consultants.  In 2011, our staff of experienced, certified fire training instructoors will begin offering several new classes, including Command 1A, 1B, and 1C.  The Command series will be taught by our staff of veteran fire service leaders, offering personal insights and valuable, real world scenarios to help our students become better fireground officers.  We will expand our offerings of Fire Stream Management classes, and plan several Forcible Entry classes beginning in the second quarter of 2011.  Our initial offerings of online registration for Driver Operator 1A and 1B classes have been a huge success, and we will continue to add classes to meet demand.

boatRescue Boat Operations meets and exceeds the California SFT FSTEP curriculum. In this class, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to operate an inflatable rescue boat (IRB) in swiftwater and flood conditions. Topics include: California boating laws, riding positions, maintenance, rescue operations, and operating in swiftwater and static conditions. Instructors are experienced in both local operations and national deployments.

Fire Fighter Oral Board Preparation Training ClassesThis course provides the student with information on preparing for a Firefighter Oral Board/Interview. Information includes how to research a fire department, how to set yourself apart from other candidates, how to speak with confidence, how to “sell” yourself, how to answer questions and what you need to know prior to entering the interview room. The student will also participate in several mock interviews as both the interviewer and a member of the interviewing panel. Students will receive a DVD of their interviews to assist in evaluating their performance first hand.
